A New Team, A New Year of Service
The Secondary Section celebrated the Interact Club Investiture Ceremony of The BJPC Institution, affiliated with the Rotary Club of Bombay Seaface. The ceremony marked the formal induction of this year’s Interact team into their roles of leadership and service.
Interact Clubs bring together students aged 12 to 18 who want to be part of something larger than the classroom, community service, leadership, and international friendship, all under the umbrella of Rotary International. For our students, today’s ceremony was the official start of that journey for the year ahead.
Highlights from the Ceremony
Formal Investiture
Office bearers were inducted, marking the start of a new year of service and leadership. Each student took their pledge with a clear sense of the responsibility ahead, ready to represent the Club and the school in the year’s activities.
Rotary affiliation
The Club continues its association with the Rotary Club of Bombay Seaface, reinforcing its mission of community service. Members from the Rotary Club joined us for the occasion, sharing words of encouragement and guidance for the newly installed team as they take on their roles.
A year of service ahead
Students take on new responsibilities, ready to lead initiatives in service and citizenship. Over the coming year, the Club plans to take up projects around community service, environmental awareness, and student welfare, giving members hands-on experience in leadership and teamwork.
Why it matters
Occasions like the Interact Club Investiture Ceremony give our students an early, meaningful taste of civic responsibility. It teaches them to plan, organise, and lead — skills that go well beyond the school gates and stay with them long after they graduate.
The BJPC Institution congratulates the newly elected Interact Club members and wishes them a fulfilling year of service ahead.
