A National-Level Science Exhibition gave Jaitra Bhabad and Burhanuddin Cutleriwala of Std. VII an opportunity to present their innovative project, “GREEN GOLD – From Stubble to Sustainable Solutions.”
The project earned the 2nd Prize at the National-Level Virtual Science Exhibition organised by GMRT (Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope), Pune, under NCRA–TIFR, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.
A Young Idea with a Bigger Purpose
The project explored how stubble can be used to create sustainable solutions.
For students, working on a topic like this means going beyond simply learning scientific concepts. It encourages them to look at an everyday problem, understand its impact and think about how science and innovation can help. That process of questioning and finding possibilities is an important part of meaningful scientific learning.
National-Level Science Exhibition: Recognised Among 750 Projects
With 750 projects presented at the exhibition, their achievement was a proud moment for The BJPC Institution & Junior College. Their 2nd Prize at the National-Level Science Exhibition is a proud achievement and a reflection of their curiosity, creativity and effort. It also gave them an opportunity to present their work on a national platform and gain exposure to ideas and innovations from other young participants.
The People Behind the Achievement
The project was developed with the guidance of their Science teacher and project in-charge, Ms. Vandana Singh, whose support helped the students take their idea forward.
We also acknowledge Mr. Jinde, who accompanied the students to Pune. Achievements like these are built through a combination of student curiosity, teacher guidance and the encouragement to explore ideas beyond the classroom.
A Proud Moment for The BJPC Institution
At The BJPC Institution & Junior College, opportunities to explore science through projects allow students to connect classroom learning with questions that exist in the real world.
Jaitra and Burhanuddin’s achievement shows what can happen when young minds are encouraged to question, explore and create.
Their “GREEN GOLD” project has brought a national-level recognition to The BJPC Institution & Junior College and, more importantly, given two young learners another reason to keep asking questions and looking for better solutions. Congratulations to Jaitra and Burhanuddin on this remarkable achievement!
