More than just a result on a marksheet, the achievement tells the story behind that number. Behind every result were months of preparation, support from teachers and parents, and the determination to keep going when things got challenging.
On 24th August 2026, The B.J.P.C. Institution & Junior College hosted Prize Distribution Day 2026 to felicitate the SSC and HSC toppers of the February/March 2026 examinations.
Trustees, proud parents, teachers, staff and students from Std. 5 to Std. 10 came together for the occasion, making it a memorable day for the young achievers and everyone who had supported them.
Celebrating SSC Excellence
The SSC results at Prize Distribution Day brought several reasons to celebrate, with students performing strongly both overall and in individual subjects.
Srushti Chavan
Srushti achieved 96.4% overall and was the SSC topper, scoring an outstanding 97/100 in English and 98/100 in Mathematics.
Dev Patel
Dev achieved 94.6% overall and was the Science subject topper, scoring an outstanding 98/100.
Atharva Sawant
Atharva secured 93.8% and, along with Srushti, was one of the Mathematics subject toppers, scoring 98/100.
Sahil Jadhav
Sahil achieved 93.4% overall, showcasing excellent academic performance.
Sankalpa Joshi
Sankalpa achieved 93.2% overall, reflecting consistent academic excellence.
Aarushi Sakpal
Aarushi achieved 90.4% overall, marking an impressive academic achievement.
Together, these students represent a commendable achievement at the SSC level, with their results reflecting dedication, consistency, and perseverance throughout the academic year. For them, the next stage of their education has already begun. Srushti Chavan, Atharva Sawant, Sahil Jadhav, Sankalpa Joshi and Aarushi Sakpal are currently pursuing Science, while Dev Patel has chosen Commerce.

HSC Toppers: Achievement Across Streams
The HSC achievers also brought distinction to the Institution through their performances in their respective streams.
Wahidullah Khan – 78% (Science)
While their academic milestones have been celebrated, their journeys are already moving towards new areas of learning and opportunity. The HSC achievers have also moved ahead into their chosen fields. Pintu Singh Rajpurohit is pursuing a Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), while Wahidullah Khan is pursuing Bioengineering.
A Message from the Principals
The Principals, Vandana Nambiar & Daisy Zohrabi both extended their congratulations to the award winners and acknowledged the contribution of teachers, parents, and the Trustees in supporting the students throughout their academic journey.
They encouraged the achievers to look beyond the recognition of the day and focus on the person they continue to become, carrying their achievements with humility, their dreams with courage, and their future with purpose.
Speaking about the people behind every successful student, they expressed gratitude to the teachers who guide and inspire, the parents who provide constant support, and the Trustees whose vision continues to create an environment where students can learn, grow and excel.

Prize Distribution Day: A Celebration Shared by The B.J.P.C. Institution & Junior College Community
Prize Distribution Day brought together different members of the Institution’s community to celebrate the achievers. The event was attended by Trustees, proud parents of the toppers, teachers and staff, and students from Std. 5 to Std. 10. The Institution was also honoured by the presence of our Trustee, Mr. Jamshed Jeejeebhoy; Mrs. Parinaaz Jeejeebhoy, Honorary Patron of the Institution; and Mr. Farhad Hozdar, President of our Alumni Association.
For parents, the occasion was a proud moment. For teachers, it was an opportunity to see their students’ efforts recognised. For the younger students in the audience, it offered an inspiring glimpse of what dedication can accomplish. Although some of the toppers could not be physically present at the ceremony, all the SSC and HSC toppers were felicitated.
Prize Distribution Day 2026: The Next Chapter Begins
Prize Distribution Day 2026 celebrated an important milestone for these young achievers, but their stories do not end with their examination results.
All the toppers have moved towards new academic experiences and aspirations. Their destinations may be different, but the qualities that brought them to this stage remain valuable wherever they go: discipline, perseverance, confidence and a willingness to keep learning.
A Journey of Growth & Gratitude
For Pintu Singh Rajpurohit, Prize Distribution Day was also an opportunity to look back at his years at The B.J.P.C. Institution & Junior College and acknowledge the role they played in shaping his next step.
Now pursuing BMS, Pintu shared his experience:
“My time at The BJPC Institution & Junior College during my 11th and 12th grades laid the strongest possible foundation for my academic and personal journey as I now pursue my Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS). Looking back, completing my junior college years at The BJPC Institution & Junior College was one of the best decisions I made for my education.
