Teachers’ Day 2026 at The BJPC Institution & Junior College was a meaningful reminder that some of the most important lessons students learn are not always found in a textbook. Sometimes, they come from a teacher who believes in you when you doubt yourself, encourages you when you struggle and pushes you to become better than you were yesterday. Teachers shape much more than academic journeys. They influence how students think, how they face challenges and, often, how they see themselves.
It was this spirit of recognising the people behind every student’s journey that made Teachers’ Day 2026 at The BJPC Institution & Junior College especially meaningful.
On 4th September 2026, the institution had the honour of welcoming Mrs. Kishori Pednekar, former Mayor of Mumbai and Opposition Leader, BMC, to its Teachers’ Day programme.
A Special Welcome at The BJPC Institution & Junior College for Teachers’ Day 2026
Mrs. Kishori Pednekar was warmly welcomed by the principals before joining the programme.
The occasion brought together students of the Secondary Section from Standards 5 to 10, teachers from across the institution, principals and a few Junior College students. Teachers from the Pre-Primary, Primary, Secondary and Junior College sections came together for the celebration. It was a gathering that reflected just how many people contribute to a student’s educational journey.
A Message That Put Teachers at the Heart of the Celebration
A key part of Mrs. Pednekar’s visit was her interaction with the students and teachers.
Addressing the students of Standards 5 to 10 and teachers from across the institution, she spoke about the importance and value of teachers and the significant role they play in shaping young lives.
Her address encouraged students to recognise the effort behind the everyday moments they may sometimes take for granted a teacher explaining a difficult concept again, offering encouragement, correcting a mistake or simply reminding a student to keep going.
Because Teaching Goes Beyond the Classroom
A teacher’s influence does not end when the school bell rings. The confidence a teacher builds, the values they reinforce and the encouragement they offer can become part of a student’s life long after a particular lesson has been forgotten. That is what makes Teachers’ Day 2026 more than a yearly celebration. It is a moment to stop and appreciate the people who dedicate themselves to helping young minds grow.
A Meaningful Teachers’ Day 2026 Celebration
Mrs. Kishori Pednekar’s presence added a special dimension to the Teachers’ Day Celebration 2026 at The BJPC Institution & Junior College.
With students, teachers, and principals coming together, the occasion became a reminder of something simple but powerful: education is shaped not only by what is taught, but by the people who teach it. And sometimes, the best way to honour a teacher is simply to recognise the difference they make.
