We were also ranked among the Top 5 Schools in Mumbai in the 2024-25 and 2025-26 surveys. With 2026-27, that makes this our hat-trick year.
Three consecutive years among Mumbai’s Top 5 schools, accompanied by steady improvement in the state and national rankings, mark a significant milestone for the BJPC Institution.

What the survey looked at
Education World India Survey evaluated schools across several parameters. Schools were assessed on:
- Curriculum
- Awards and achievements
- Infrastructure
- Leadership
- Faculty development
- Skill-based education
Each of these is part of daily life at The BJPC Institution. The curriculum is delivered by teachers who keep training and upgrading their own practice. Awards and achievements come from students who take part in competitions, exhibitions, and projects throughout the year. Skill-based education runs alongside academics so that a student leaves with abilities that go beyond an exam result.
Why the Vintage Legacy Co-ed Day School category matters
The Vintage Legacy Co-ed Day School category recognises schools with a history spanning more than 90 years. Founded in 1891, the BJPC Institution belongs to this distinguished group of longstanding educational institutions.
With a 4th rank in Mumbai, 5th in Maharashtra and 12th in India in the 2026–27 survey, the institution continues to earn recognition among schools with a long-standing presence in education. Its history provides a foundation for the work carried forward by each generation of students, teachers and school leaders.
The people behind the rank
A ranking records the work of an entire school. It reflects the leadership that sets direction, the faculty who teach and keep learning, the students who show up and take part, and the parents who support them. Each group contributed to this result, three years running.
Moving Forward
As the BJPC Institution records its third consecutive year of the Education World India Survey recognition, it continues to focus on teaching quality, student achievement, faculty development and opportunities for practical skill-building.
The steady improvement in its state and national rankings over three surveys reflects the progress recorded during this period. The institution acknowledges the contribution of its leadership, teachers, staff, students and parents to this achievement.
Congratulations to the entire BJPC Institution family on this milestone!
